WESTERN UNION STARTS OFFERING OUTBOUND MONEY TRANSFER SERVICES IN MYANMAR

WESTERN UNION is a well-known global payment services provider which has been operating in numerous countries all over the world for the last many years. This company has recently launched outbound money-transfer services for the first time in Myanmar. It has already been providing inbound money transfer services in Myanmar since 2013.  Now with the introduction of outbound services as well, people in Myanmar will be able to send money to over 200 countries worldwide. The services will be available through nine banks which WESTERN UNION as associated with; these banks are KBZ Bank, CB Bank, Aya Bank, Yoma Bank, Myanmar Oriental Bank, First Private Bank, Global Treasure Bank, Myanmar APEX Bank, and United Amara Bank. The service is still in its introductory stage and at present it is available only in three cities- Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw. The daily transfer limit has been set at US $ 300 with US $ 10,000 being the maximum annual transfer limit.
