In an attempt to increase trade a delegation is going to visit Myanmar this month. This delegation will consist of a twelve member team and will visit Myanmar for five days starting on May 16, 2016. The trip is being facilitated by The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) and it will include members from Indian states of West Bengal and Odisha. The aim is to look for newer avenues and opportunities for trade and increasing economic cooperation between both the countries. The delegation will meet up with the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Indian diaspora in Myanmar, as well as various Ministers of Myanmar.
