
Important talks took place between India and Bhutan on February 18, 2016. These talks took place in New Delhi and the topics of discussion were key bilateral and regional issues concerning the two countries and India-assisted hydro projects in the Buddhist nation. Bhutan was represented by Prime Minister Mr. Tshering Tobgay who met with Indian External Affairs Minister Ms. Sushma Swaraj. The two leaders expressed desire to promote and explore new areas of cooperation between the two countries and tried finding ways achieve these objectives for mutual economic development.
