CEA Project Logistics, a Thailand headquartered company has partnered with Italian company Fagioli and this partnership is eyeing Myanmar’s power sector. Besides Myanmar they also have plans to enter many other Southeast Asian countries including Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. The fall in oil prices worldwide has negatively impacted the logistics industry and that is prompting companies working in this sector to look for other avenues. As per the signed agreement, these two companies will share risks, responsibilities and profits and together they will try to make a mark in the power sector of Myanmar and some other Asian countries.
Fagioli specializes in heavy lifting and hauling while CEA has a huge logistics network. The combining of their expertise in different fields is expected to make things much easier for them and enable them to succeed in their aspired power related ventures. , the partnership can now offer turnkey projects, he added. The Government of Myanmar has plans to set up infrastructure for tapping the potential provided by solar and wind power. In order to implement these plans heavy generators and turbines will be needed. The CEA Project Logistics and Fagioli partnership will help in the transportation of all such equipment.
